Due to the outbreak of coronavirus on 11 March 2020, we were forced into rapid lockdown in many countries, especially in Spain.
As the lockdown measures came into effect, a large part of the workforce had to stay at home and work remotely, as long as their duties allowed.
For both organisations that were familiar with teleworking and those that were not, they sent their employees home and experimented with teleworking and this is how we did it at Alianza Logistics. We tested this mode which has now become permanently established in the company.
Being able to work at home has proven to us to be an important tool for ensuring business continuity from wherever we are. This new way of working has also helped us to build more teams than ever before, to create more trust among our employees, to allow each employee to freely choose his or her residence, to contribute to the reduction of air pollution and also to the reduction of stress in our employees.
For this to happen, we have had to digitise even more, adapt to the circumstances and realise how important it is for a company. We are aware that it is part of evolving business and society, with a digital mentality and way of thinking, with technology focused on the customer and therefore providing the company with platforms and computers.
Alianza Logistics, as an up-to-date company in society and in business, we see that teleworking has made us grow, we have contributed to our team, enriching with all its benefits and most importantly it is keeping us united in this harmful time in the country and around the world.
