Last Tuesday 28th February, the General Director of Sustainable Economy of the Generalitat Valenciana, Jose Vicente Soler, met with our manager and representatives of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Alianza Logistics in the Administrative City 9 d’Octubre. The purpose of the meeting was to learn about the company, our active involvement in CSR and our upcoming registration in the Register of Socially Responsible Valencian Entities (REVSR).
The meeting was attended by the company’s manager, Vicente Aguilar; Pablo Cervera, Director of HR, Management Systems and IT, and María González, Head of the Quality Department. At Alianza Logistics, we have been demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility since 2009, as well as to the Sustainable Development Goals, a fact that has aroused the interest of the Director General of Sustainable Economy.
During the meeting, our representatives exchanged views both on the sustainability of the logistics sector and its challenges in the medium and long term, as well as on our upcoming registration for the RESVR, which will open for registration on 7 March.
The creation of the Alianza Logistics forest is one of the actions for which we have recently received an award. Thanks to the creation of this green space, we have been able to complete the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of Calculate, Compensate and Reduce seal for combating the carbon footprint generated by the company.
Alianza Logistics’ commitment to the REVSR project is great news for the Valencia Region, as it shows that more and more companies are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability. The Generalitat Valenciana is pleased to launch and welcome us to this project and hopes to continue working with us in the future to achieve a more sustainable and fairer economic development for all.
