The horrific situation that Ukraine has been experiencing for the past week has prompted six NGOs to activate the Emergency Committee to organize assistance to the current humanitarian crisis.
According to the UN, 1.5 million people have had to leave for neighbouring countries and this is expected to continue to grow. Emergency responses are therefore focusing on providing shelter, basic humanitarian assistance such as food, water, health care, psychological care and child protection, among others.
As a company that is always ready to support and help, especially in difficult times, we wanted to do our bit in several actions. Together with Save the Children, a non-governmental organisation that works for the rights of children living in vulnerable situations and with which we collaborate on a monthly basis, we have created a challenge, in which funds have been collected for these children and families.
In addition, from a collection point for basic necessities such as medicines, food and thermal clothing, which is the most in demand by the health services and located in Valencia, we have collaborated with the transport of the large number of boxes provided by a large number of people who have Ukraine as their destination.
