Alianza Logistics towards a sustainable and responsible future 2023

We continue to do our bit to contribute together to a sustainable future.

At Alianza Logistics Group we seek to integrate sustainability into each of the projects we carry out with the aim of promoting changes in our sector towards more responsible practices, generating shared value for society.

But first… What is corporate social responsibility?

CSR is the strategy that a company designs to provide solutions, improvements, aid and support to society through measures that it leads and carries out voluntarily.

It is therefore an ethical and sustainable responsibility. This has been increasing in recent years due to society’s growing awareness of the need for companies with corporate social responsibility to pay special attention to social and environmental issues.

Our strategy as a group of companies is aligned with the ten universal Principles proposed by the Global Compact and in turn contributes directly and indirectly to the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations in the framework of the 2030 Agenda, which seek to promote the sustainable development of our planet, understood from five dimensions: people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships for change.

Our goal is to implement actions that, aligned with our sustainability strategy, contribute to the development and well-being of people, the environment and society in general.

In 2022 we won the Social Company award granted by ASECAM due to our actions committed to the environment and society.

Here are some examples of corporate social responsibility that we will be working on in 2023.

– We will continue to calculate and offset our carbon footprint.
– We will create a new GRI 2022 sustainability report.
– We will work on obtaining Ecovadis certification.
– Creation of a workplace harassment protocol.
– Development of a work-life balance plan.
– Disaster workshops for employees.
– Awareness campaigns on healthy living and sport.

Alianza Logistics is a company with an interest and desire to be part of a society that is better every day for people and the environment, so we believe we have an obligation to contribute to projects that help achieve this goal.

We are convinced that the numerous sustainable actions that we have established each year have contributed to the improvement of our activity.

In the future, we will continue to minimise as much as possible our activity in the environmental area, contributing in turn to improving people’s lives.
